Bee Removal & Wasp Control

The Honey Bee
Color: golden yellow and black
Size: ~1/2 - 3/4 inches long
This bee can only sting once (and only if feeling very threatened). Their stinger has a tiny sack of poison that stays in your skin as they die. They usually nest someplace protected like a tree or some kind of cavity. There can be up to 60,000 bees in one colony. We will not kill these bees at all costs if we can help it, as they are vital to our agriculture and economy.

Yellowjacket Wasps
Color: yellow and black coloring
Size: ~1/2 inch long
Living in cone shaped nests made from papery material and plant fiber. Sometimes their nests can be found underground but mostly hanging from trees or buildings. Numbering in the thousands, these wasps are most aggressive in the late summer. DO NOT KILL these wasps close to their hives! They can sting repeatedly and when killed, they release a pheromone that will tell other yellowjackets in the area they are in trouble.
